Jim often quotes an old martial arts saying: “Knocked down seven times, get up eight.” Elli Fordyce personifies this philosophy.

A young jazz singer who played with the likes of Bobby Darin, Elli put performance aside for marriage and family. At age 30 she renewed her music career and enjoyed a successful 14 year run which ended in a tragic auto accident. Following the accident Elli stopped singing and embarked on a spiritual quest for the next 15 years. Now she’s back on the scene and still cool!
